MLBPAA Honors Hunter Pence with Giants Heart and Hustle Award
One player from each MLB team wins respected honor voted on by Alumni playersWHO: San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence winner of Heart and Hustle Award. Pence has previously hosted charity events to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The award is being presented by Alumni Major Leaguer Vida Blue, who played for the Oakland Athletics, San Francisco Giants, and Kansas City Royals over his 17 year career. He was a six-time All-Star, three-time World Series champion and was named the American League MVP and Cy Young Award winner in 1971. Blue is now an analyst for Comcast SportsNet Bay
