About Us

The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) was formed in 1982 in order to promote the game of baseball, raise money for charity, inspire and educate youth through positive sport images and protect the dignity of the game through former players. A nonprofit organization, the MLBPAA establishes a place where a player's drive for excellence and achievement on the field can continue long after they take their last steps off the professional diamond.

Event to feature Jimmy Wynn, Larry Dierker, JR Richard and more than 60 other MLB AlumniColorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will host a “Swing with the Legends” celebrity golf tournament featuring former Houston Astros, All-Stars, World Series Champions and other alumni. The event will take place on Monday, April 20th with proceeds benefitting Tony’s Prostate Cancer Research , a charity devoted to finding a cure for the disease.
