Mandamus sells in Falkenberg

MANDAMUS SELLS IN FALKENBERG Mandamus is selling six of its seven properties in Falkenberg, on the south-west coast of Sweden. The purchaser is FABO (Falkenbergs Bostadsaktiebolag), a limited company in the housing-property sector, and completion is due on 15 February 2001. The Falkenberg properties being sold are four residential blocks containing 71 flats and two commercial buildings. Altogether, the properties contain 9,914 square metres of rentable space, including business premises of 4,577 sq.m. The aggregate purchase price is SEK 55 million, yielding a capital gain of SEK 17m. Of Mandamus' property stock, just under 66% in terms of book value is now located in company's growth areas: Greater Stockholm, Greater Gothenburg, Malmö/Lund and Halmstad.
