Further concentration of Mandamus' property stock During May and June, Mandamus disposed of eight properties: four commercial buildings - two in Örebro, one in Fagersta and one in Botkyrka - and four small residential blocks in Kungsbacka. The aggregate sale proceeds from the deals implemented amounted to some SEK 35m, of which total profit was around SEK 12m. The properties sold 2 comprise a combined rentable area of just under 8,700 m , including 2 commercial premises of just over 7,200 m . Since year-end 1999 Mandamus has left seven municipalities. The company now owns properties in 45 municipalities. During the first half of 2000, a total of 49 properties were sold for approximately SEK 220m. These disposals yielded a profit of some SEK 27m. In the first six months of this year, Mandamus also implemented supplementary acquisitions of housing properties in Greater Gothenburg and Greater Stockholm. The property acquired in the first-mentioned metropolitan area, with the completion date of 1 April, is a residential block of 62 flats in Partille. In Åkersberga, Greater Stockholm, four residential blocks comprising 590 flats were acquired; here, the completion date was 1 July.
