Mandamus sells properties in Markaryd and Landskrona

MANDAMUS SELLS MARKARYD AND LANDSKRONA PROPERTIES Mandamus has sold 32 housing properties: all 27 housing properties in Landskrona and all five housing properties in Markaryd. Altogether, the buildings sold contain some 51,000 sq.m. of rentable space with an estimated rental value of SEK 33m. The group has also disposed of its remaining undeveloped site in the municipality of Kungälv. The completion date for these deals is 2 May 2000. The aggregate sales value of the deals is SEK 157m, bringing in a total profit of SEK 9m. Comments from Mandamus' MD Anders Johansson These sales represent part of our endeavour to concentrate our property stock in some 15 selected areas where enterprise is flourishing, educational opportunities are good and the population is growing. Accordingly, just over 89% of the property stock in terms of book value is now located in the group's selected areas.
