Mandator expands in Norrland Mandator's expansion continues. In December 1999, Mandator acquired the PR and Communication company Journalistgruppen, and recently the merger with Cell Network were announced. Now Mandator is set to open a new office in Sundsvall, in the north of Sweden. - The new office in Sundsvall is the first stepping stone in our expansion along the Norrland coast, an area that is of particular interest to us. We will continue to expand both organically and through acquisitions, says Niklas Flyborg, President of Mandator. Mandator has already recruited over ten IT professionals, all with extensive experience and a wide network of contacts, who will make up the Sundsvall office right from the start. Mandator's initial offering will be aimed mainly at customers within the telecommunications industry, government authorities and departments, and the processing industry. This relatively small office will undertake major IT and Internet projects, drawing, when necessary, on the expertise of the Mandator group that it has at its disposal. Mandator's other 38 offices around the world work in the same way - combining the personal customer care offered by small companies with the access enjoyed by larger companies to a high level of expertise in many fields. - I am delighted that we can finally offer our customers in the Sundsvall region our local presence, says Claes-Erik Frölund, Division Manager at Mandator, who estimates that the office will have doubled in size by the end of the year.
