Mandator sets up operations in Östersund During the summer Mandator has established a new office in Östersund. The establishment is a direct consequence of the business within the Mandator Simulation & Training division. Mandator's establishment in Östersund is mainly directed towards training for defence materiel and one has earlier made a very complex training package to the Army Vehicle 90. Through the subsidiary company Mandator Interactive AB, Mandator has received the assignment of doing the training program for the new Leopard tank. The assignment comes from the German manufacturer Krauss Maffei Wegmann on account of the Swedish Defence. "We have chosen Östersund for our establishment mainly because of the nearness to the Army Technical School, which will be deeply involved in the development of the training program. The business started during August and some recruitments have already been made. Our estimation is that we will be approximately 5-7 people by the end of the year and about 10 people with one year", says Henry Jonasson, local manager for the operations in Östersund. "We believe that it is very pleasant and important that Mandator Interactive AB, with business with high competence and know how, has chosen Östersund for its establishment", says Magnus Lindgren, Economy Manager of the local authorities of Östersund.
