Tidnings AB Marieberg has signed an agreement to sell its DN-Huset office property in Marieberg on Kungsholmen in Stockholm to Nordisk Renting AB. The newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Expressen will continue to be the largest tenants in the building. The DN building has 74,000 square meters of space. The purchase price amounted to approximately SEK 1,200 m, resulting in a book capital gain of about SEK 300 m. The sale is part of the Marieberg Group's and the Bonnier Group's strategy to sell off assets that are not part of their media operations. The acquisition of this well-known Stockholm landmark strengthens Nordisk Renting's real estate portfolio, which focuses on strategic real estate holdings in cooperation with good tenants.
