Millers Oils expands sales team with new Area Sales Manager
Oil developer’s successful year leads to additional roles
Brighouse, Yorkshire - Millers Oils has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Chris Bateson as Area Manager for the East Midlands. Bateson’s addition to the team is part of an internal restructure following a successful year for the company which has included the launch of its revolutionary Flowcontrol® bottle. Bateson’s experience spans over 11 years within the lubricants industry, working for the likes of Shell and Forte, across all sectors including automotive, commercial and industrial. His knowledge of distributors and lubricant technologies will enable the company to expand its commercial footprint.
“The company has significantly expanded its offerings over the last year and with great success,” says Steve Woollven, Joint Managing Director, Millers Oils. “We have launched several new products and services this year including the Which Oil? look-up tool for commercial vehicles and our revolutionary Flowcontrol® bottle. Chris’s extensive experience within the lubricants industry means he is well-placed to support our existing business and build upon our recent successes.”
Millers Oils launched its revolutionary Flowcontrol® bottle to the UK earlier this year at an event at Silverstone’s Stowe Complex. Through two selected distributors, the bottle has driven a 95% year-on-year sales increase for the month of June. Following this success in the UK, the company will be launching Flowcontrol® to worldwide markets at Automechanika, Frankfurt, 16-20 September. Bateson’s role will be focused on supporting the company to continue achieving success with its innovative products.
“Millers Oils’ extensive in-house capabilities, R&D investment and continuous dedication to finding new ways to support customers are what drew me to the position,” says Bateson. “The quality of the products and innovative developments are what makes them an outstanding lubricants company in the market place. I’m delighted to be working in this new role and look forward to being a part of the company’s continued growth.”
