Technical support services offer advice to motoring enthusiasts

19 December 2014, Brighouse, Yorkshire – At the Autosport International show in January (8-11, Birmingham NEC), owners of classic and sports cars can find answers to those tricky questions about which oil is best for their vehicle. Technical specialists from British oil developer Millers Oils will be there to help enthusiasts decide how best to protect their vehicle’s engine and transmission while achieving the best economy and performance.

“When a car is new, the manufacturer recommends a particular lubricant specification but as it accumulates miles the vehicle’s requirement changes,” says Martyn Mann, Technical Director, Millers Oils. “New oil technologies also add to the confusion for classic motorists, with a lot of owners asking if they should use traditional oils or modern specification oils, and what effect age can have on an engine and its lubrication requirements. We will be at Autosport to answer those questions and provide the lubrication advice enthusiasts are looking for.”

For those that can’t attend the show, Millers Oils offers a technical support line and an online look-up tool. Enthusiasts and owners can call +44 (0)1484 475060 to talk to a specialist about their oil queries or visit http://www.millersoils.co.uk/whichoil.asp to find out, in a few simple steps, which lubricant is suitable for their vehicle.
