Millers Oils’ Flowcontrol® bottle revolutionises home oil changes

11 December 2014, Brighouse, Yorkshire – Yorkshire-based oil developer, Millers Oils, has been awarded a Top Product award by a leading automotive aftermarket publication. Professional Motor Mechanic, which provides 70,000 automotive technicians with monthly motor repair news and features, selected the Millers Oils’ Flowcontrol® bottle as one of the best innovations of the year.

“It’s great to see our innovative products gaining recognition from the industry in this way,” says Steve Woollven, Managing Director, Millers Oils. “The Flowcontrol® bottle has received excellent feedback from customers and this award is a great testament to the hard work and dedication we have put into designing and producing it.”

The Flowcontrol® bottle makes pouring oil into an engine significantly easier. The unique bottle design allows the user to control the flow of oil without the use of a funnel, helping to prevent spills and contamination. Vehicle owners often use the same funnel for topping-up engine oil in multiple cars and garden machinery, which can lead to lubricant contamination and expensive component damage; the new Flowcontrol® bottle combats this and enables consumers to top-up or change oil at home with ease and confidence.

Millers Oils has previously been awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise, for its exceptional international growth and the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) Award for Business Excellence in Technology and Innovation for Nanodrive® lubricants.
