9trees to help RHS members balance their carbon footprint.

Chelsea, London. Monday 23rd May 2022.
For immediate release.

Powys based 9Trees is honoured to be a guest of Harrison Ovens who’s stand at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show has been designed by award-winning designer Sarah Morgan founder of The Garden Creative

Featuring three native trees Birch, Hazel & Elder (Betula Pendula, Crataegus Monogyna and Sambucus Nigra).

9Trees usually plants up to 15 different types of trees in their new woodlands. Creating a rich diversity for wildlife and wellbeing, not profit.

One of this year’s themes, big ideas and small spaces blends perfectly with 9trees philosophy of helping RHS members contribute to create biodiverse woodlands while helping to balance their carbon footprint.

9Trees Director Michael Cunningham, 37, will be on hand on Wednesday 25th May to answer any questions RHS members may have.

“It is an honour to be asked to be part of this year’s Chelsea Flower Show as a guest of Harrison Ovens. I hope that I am able to give people a few acorns of advice to take home.”

“We all hear about carbon offsetting and wonder how that’s possible, 9Trees is proud to be one of the first not for profit organisations that have begun creating new habitat for wildlife in the form of biodiverse woodlands”.

About 9Trees

https://www.9trees.org/

9Trees are a not-for-profit organisation. Income is reinvested into training, education and management of the woodlands created through subscriptions.

Rather than selling carbon credits, 9Trees are creating carbon sinks in the form of professionally managed broadleaf woodlands for wildlife and people. Their philosophy is simple; Plant 9 trees per person, per year, to help balance one individual’s personal carbon footprint.

By planting the right trees in the right place, 9Trees also promote biodiversity and enhance habitat corridors. Each tree is geolocated, keeping subscribers up to date with their progress until maturity.

Over the years you will have many woodlands you can visit throughout the UK.

9Trees also promotes jobs and skills within the local countryside and woodland sector by bringing communities together to create woodlands that benefit people and wildlife. 9Trees are for nature, wellbeing, rural Jobs and working to balance the UK’s carbon footprint.

9Trees is supported by experts working all over the UK in various capacities, a real team effort. This Pro-bono support is greatly appreciated by Ash and Mike, helping us plant 100,000 trees in the coming years.
