Marl extends range of durable panel indicators

Ulverston, UK, 17 September 2012. Marl has added a new cool white version to its popular range of large LED panel indicators for instrumentation and control panels.

Complementing the popular red, yellow, green and blue LEDs in the 671 Series, the new energy efficient cool white version has a luminous intensity of 890mcd from a current of just 20m/A. The high optical performance together with a long lifetime of 100,000 hours reduces maintenance requirements, including replacing lamps and downtime, to improve the reliability of the application.

The domed, colour diffused 20mm lens makes off-axis viewing easy, for the user to tell whether the LED is truly on and not just catching ambient light or sunlight. The durable black anodised housing is sealed to IP67 rating, providing total protection against dust and the effects of temporary immersion into liquid.

The 671 Series has a mounting hole of 25.4mm, is available as standard or high intensity, has a range between 24 to 230 volts AC/DC, and an operating temperature from -40 to +85 degrees C.

For the Rail Industry, a RIA 12 / EN50155 type approval version is available upon request.
