Advanced Technology Improves Strength and Insulation of Marmox Products

Marmox Board rebranded as Multiboard and relaunched with new finish

Chatham, UK, 30 May, 2012 – Marmox UK is incorporating nanotechnology into its family of building and insulation products to provide best-in-class performance. Carbon nanotubes are now added to the polymer-concrete finish of all BBA approved Marmox Multiboards, Thermoblocks and Showerlays, giving both improved performance and a distinctive honeycomb appearance.

Nanotechnology was originally developed out of the space exploration programmes and deals with engineering particles at the molecular level. Carbon nanotubes are microscopically engineered fibres, which have found uses in medical, automotive, chemical and now construction applications.
