Marmox UK Appointed as Distributor for Heraklith Panels
Chatham, UK, 19 June 2012 – Marmox UK has been appointed as the UK distributor for Heraklith wood wool systems from Knauf. The high quality insulation panels expand Marmox’s existing Multiboard portfolio to provide a complete solution to internal and external wall, floor and ceiling linings.
Announcing the agreement Sarah Viney, managing director at Marmox UK said, “The Heraklith panels offer excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, very high fire resistance and are made from sustainable natural materials. Adding Heraklith to our range enables us to offer our customers a wider variety of wall lining boards for both renovation and new build projects.”
Herakith wood wool panels are suitable for providing thermal insulation to both residential and non-residential buildings. Standard panels are available in 25mm, 35mm and 50mm thicknesses and ‘combi’ versions are also available with enhanced fire resistance, thermal insulation or soundproofing properties depending on the application. The panels are breathable enabling use with lime renders and commercially a very popular use is providing fireproof acoustic cladding to underground car parks. All boards are certified to EN13168.
