Marquis and Carver Yachts Appoint ADT Marine as Dealer in Turkey

Pulaski, Wis., (Oct. 22, 2013) Marquis Yachts, LLC and Carver Yachts have named ADT Marine as their new representative for Carver and Marquis-brand yachts in the south Mediterranean region of Turkey.

Matthew VanGrunsven, Marquis and Carver’s vice president of global sales, said the yacht builders are eager to partner with such an established business in the region.

“We are thrilled to have ADT Marine’s 20 years of experience represent us in the southern region of Turkey,” VanGrunsven said. “The staff of professionals at ADT Marine are superb and we look forward to collaborating with them.”

ADT Marine is owned by Hakan Akin and based in the Antalya Free Trade Zone. The company has 10 branches and a variety of showrooms within the region.

Gaye Girit, foreign trade specialist for ADT Marine, said she is eager to see what the Marquis and Carver brands will bring to ADT Marine.

“The Carver and Marquis brands are two of the most respected in the industry. They bring a lot of credibility and energy to ADT Marine and they add value to our company,” Girit said. “We expect Carver and Marquis will help energize our sales.”

Carver and Marquis-brand yachts will complete the range of vessels offered by ADT Marine with the addition of sport coupe and fly bridge luxury style yachts.

ADT Marine’s first C34 will arrive in Turkey in the spring of 2014.
