Zound appoints new member to Board of Directors
Zound Industries announces a new member of the board of directors. Monika Elling was appointed at an extraordinary general meeting on Friday, December 14, 2018.
Monika will also be chair of the Zound Industries’ Audit Committee. Her other appointments include RnB Retail and Brands AB, Talent Eye AB and Ljung & Sjöberg AB. Monika has a degree from Stockholm School of Economics and continued to study an MBA at McGill University in Canada. She was previously an analyst at SEB Equities, CFO at Intrum Justitia AB and CEO at Poolia AB.
Tommy Jacobson, Chairman of the Board, says, “We are delighted to welcome Monika to the Zound Industries’ Board of Directors. As we continue scaling up the business, her experience and knowledge will be a great asset.”
Zound has experienced several years of continued growth. This year the company announced a new partnership with adidas to make headphones under license, as well as signing a 15-year continuation to the contract they have with Marshall.
