Zound Industries appoints Gustaf Rosell as new Innovation Director
Zound Industries has appointed Gustaf Rosell as Innovation Director. Gustaf has broad experience of working with innovation in different forms and in different industries and joins Zound to build on the company’s existing track-record for innovation.
In his new role at Zound Gustaf will be responsible for developing and implementing Zound’s innovation strategy to accelerate and refine innovation efforts across brands and departments.

During his career, Gustaf has worked with almost everything, from heading up R&D, corporate strategy and M&A at large companies to leading smaller start-ups. Gustaf joins Zound from his role as Design Director at the design agency Designit. He is highly involved in questions concerning sustainability, is mentoring several companies within the sector and has also authored books on industrial design and design theory.

Zound Industries designs and develops speakers and headphones under the brand names Marshall and Urbanears. With a strong focus on innovative technology and user-centered design, Zound has gone from strength to strength since first hitting the market in 2008, launching a wide range of iconic, award-winning products. Zound currently has around 250 employees, with offices in Stockholm, New York, Paris, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. In 2018 turnover reached about SEK 1.86 billion. In February 2018, Zound announced a new collaborative partnership with adidas, with initial products due to hit the market in 2019.
