Zound Industries increases net sales by 3 percent during Q3 2019
During the third-quarter 2019 net sales for Zound Industries amounted to 424.4 MSEK, corresponding to an increase of 3 percent compared to the strongest ever third quarter last year. The sales mix for Q3 2019 was dominated by new products, whereas Q3 2018 was characterised by high campaign activity.
“3 percent is a slower growth rate than normal for Zound. The development this year has to be seen in perspective of the extraordinary strong growth in the corresponding period last year where we grew by 45 percent. For a company like Zound, growth rates will vary between quarters and periods depending on several factors such as product launches, general activity levels, trends, as well as the competitive situation. We have several exciting projects ongoing and have our sight set on the future with several new launches”, comments Martin Axhamre, CFO and acting CEO, Zound Industries.
Events during the quarter
- On 25th September, Zound launched their first adidas Sport headphones; the FWD-01, a wireless in-ear headphone, and RPT-01, a wireless on-ear headphone. Initial product reviews among customers and in the media have been positive.
