Internship Program and Research Partnership Provides Free Training and Certification for the “Blue Cheetah” PaaS Environment to First 500 Users

Massively Parallel Technologies, Inc. (MPT) today announced that it is extending its highly successful “Blue Cheetah” PaaS software beta project to the University market and is providing free training and certification to the first 500 interns from U.S. universities. The company will jointly administer the Blue Cheetah Internship Program with Technology Based Learning & Research Center (TBLR) at the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College of Arizona State University. Blue Cheetah is a revolutionary Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) software environment that provides a whole new way to code, collaborate, manage, and monetize software. MPT also unveiled a new web site that reflects its recent progress and highlights the new internship program.

"MPT is changing software engineering as a discipline," said Paul Skiera, Director of the ASU’s TBLR Center. "Following our successful beta project earlier this year, we are ready to take the next step as we work to harden and populate the Blue Cheetah environment.” This will allow students to gain expertise in a critical new area that will serve to enhance their skills and marketability.

“A holistic environment built on a rigorous technical foundation promises a new era for software quality, maintainability, speed, and commerce,” said Bobbi Hazard, CEO of MPT. “Our joint collaboration with the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College is an important step in bringing to market a whole new way of coding, collaborating, managing, and monetizing software.”

Based on nearly 70 patents filed or issued, MPT’s solutions meet the increasing demands of the app-centric and cloud-centric world of technology. Blue Cheetah slashes development costs and increases software quality by improving developer productivity, infrastructure efficiency, and user experience.

MPT and TBLR are both based in Skysong, the Arizona State University Scottsdale Innovation Center, a global business community that links technology, research, education and entrepreneurship: skysong.asu.edu.
