Maus Frères waive the condition regarding 50 % acceptance level

In the light of our announcement earlier this morning that we now own 29.9% of the shares in Gant Company AB (publ) (“Gant”), Maus Frères S.A. (“Maus Frères”) now announces the waiver of the 50 % acceptance condition to the Offer. The Offer expires tomorrow, Friday 11th January 2008, at 17.00 Central European Time. In this way all shareholders in Gant now have the opportunity to sell their shares to Maus Frères in the Offer.
