New Full-Service Manufacturing Support Solution from MAVERICK Technologies
COLUMBIA, Ill., (August 1, 2012) — MAVERICK Technologies has introduced PlantFloor 24, the world’s first full-service, platform-independent, 24/7 hardware, software and process support solution. PlantFloor 24 allows manufacturers to outsource automation services previously handled by internal staff or outside vendors, thereby reducing operational costs, allowing for flexible staff augmentation and improving asset management. Manufacturers may pick and choose from a complete spectrum of services according to their needs.
The PlantFloor 24 team primarily works out of MAVERICK’s newly constructed global operations center, with full remote monitoring, diagnostics and testing capabilities. Resources can be deployed as needed from a pool of more than 500 engineers on staff at MAVERICK’s 18 strategically located U.S. facilities.

Norris directs PlantFloor 24 along with Bill Stewart, MAVERICK’s vice president of corporate planning and strategy, and other technical leaders on staff. Norris formerly held several executive positions at Anheuser-Busch, and Stewart formerly worked as a technical leader at The Dow Chemical Company, so each brings extensive experience and unique insight to his leadership role.
PlantFloor 24 is just the latest in a family of custom solutions that utilize MAVERICK’s expertise in industrial automation, enterprise integration and strategic manufacturing. In February 2012 MAVERICK launched DCS Next, its innovative, results-focused approach to DCS migration, which has generated a significant response in the manufacturing community. MAVERICK has begun development of other solutions based on client needs, with plans to introduce them in the coming year.
