Berlin Fashion Film Festival Nominated: Julian Zigerli's SS16 Campaign Film, directed by Martin Monk.

Julian Zigerli’s SS16 campaign film entitled ‘White Rabbit’, directed by Martin Monk, has been shortlisted for ‘Best Local’ by the Berlin Fashion Film Festival. 

ABOUT THE FILM

A playful interpretation of the SS16 'White Rabbit' collection, the Zigerli campaign film looks at the intimate interactions between a young couple (Ella Rumpf and Quinn Jean Eon). Director Martin Monk has captured the innocence of the pieces in the collection - creating an unexpected yet fitting follow-on from the recent release of the illustrative print campaign by Foxy Illustrations.

ABOUT MARTIN MONK 

Martin Monk is a writer, director and photographer based in Berlin. His short films have screened successfully across the globe, honing Best Newcomer prizes at Shot on RED, the Mexico Int’l Film Festival and the Berlin Fashion Film Festival. 'Happy Tears' starring Alan Cumming was also an official selection at Raindance 2014. His photography has been widely exhibited in Moscow as well as his native Berlin. Martin also holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Theory.
