ABOUT MATTEO CIBIC

Matteo Cibic is a multidisciplinary designer with a focus on combining both craft and wit through his various commissioned and personal projects. Already a prolific name for over 10 years in his native Italy, his pieces have ventured into both the functional and conceptual - with projects including lighting sculptures, glasswork, furniture design and more recently ceramics with his ‘Vasonaso’ project. As well as independent works, Matteo has achieved not only critical acclaim but also commercial success. Notable pieces for cultural institutions, private collectors and brands have included names like the V&A, Replay, Mint Gallery and Musee Pompidou to mention a few. Today, Cibic and his team work extensively on commissions and self-initiated projects - all of which are founded in a quality and quirkiness that the studio name has become famed for.
