ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
Inspired by a recent trip to Japan, Julian Zigerli’s spring-summer 2016 collection ‘White Rabbit’ plays with the strong contrasts that can be found in the Japanese culture, naturally flirting with the cute and lovely as much as with the dark and twisted.
Following on from the collection, this season's campaign is the result of a collaboration with Japanese illustrator Seitaro Ito, the name behind ‘FOXY ILLUSTRATIONS’ - famous for his hand drawn vintage-like characters, including some cheeky and rather sarcastic bunnies.
ABOUT JULIAN ZIGERLI
Swiss designer Julian Zigerli began his eponymous menswear label in 2010 with a belief in quality and wearability with a twist – famed for his collaborations with both artists and brands alike. Named winner of the Swiss Design Awards twice as well as being invited by Giorgio Armani himself to present in Milan, Julian now shows in Paris as part of the official schedule.
ABOUT FOXY ILLUSTRATIONS
After spending most of his twenties between Vancouver, London, Shanghai and Denmark, Japanese illustrator Seitaro Ito finally settled in Tokyo where he started producing pencil drawings and accessories as ‘FOXY ILLUSTRATIONS’. A series of cute and funny cartoon characters mixing childish inspirations and a touch of sexy playfulness.
