PRESS RELEASE FROM eZeSchools RELEASE TIME: IMMEDIATE

A new interactive educational platform has been launched to help school children with their homework and revision. HELP (Home Education Learning Platform) is every parent and Childs “School in a box” available 24 hours a day seven days a week wherever they are. The website known as the Home Education Learning Platform or HELP boasts an astonishing array of features, including separate login access for parents, an on line help facility staffed by experienced teachers and high levels of security so parents can be confident that their child is completely safe whilst using the website. HELP has been designed around the National Curriculum and is then tailored to each individual’s personal needs, ensuring that every child using HELP has access to the exact curriculum that suits them. Developed over ten years by the award winning online learning company eZeSchools, unique features include access to previous SATS exam papers, sample answers and online support provided by a team of Advanced Skill Teachers. This means that the user can have access to a wide range of relevant resources including the entire Encyclopaedia Britannica on line, specialist eZe Maths and English curriculum based content including thousands of high quality videos, lessons, work sheets, tests and exams, plus access to the unique “discovering English” for foreign students, or where English may be a second language. The system provides access to on line course which lead to internationally recognised qualifications. There is also the innovative “ask a teacher” service whereby one-to-one support is provided by a fully qualified teacher via HELP’s secure messaging system. Parents and carers can work with their children and monitor their progress via their own secure login, allowing both supervision and interaction. This facility can be used remotely from anywhere in the world. And unlike some sites HELP develops with the learner, it understands (thanks to innovative psychometric testing) each learners individual learning style, ability, wants, needs and desires taking them from Key Stage 1 all the way through to GCSEs, A level and beyond. The site is paid for by a monthly subscription and the site developers claim that it replaces the need for expensive tutors who can charge anything up to £50 per session. John Botten chairman of HELP said, “I started developing HELP because my children were getting ready to take their GCSEs and needed some extra support with revision. Paying for individual tutors was eye wateringly expensive so we started to look around online for this and what we found was that although there was a huge array of different content there was no organisation, no direction and nothing that therefore addressed the needs of children.” “As a father I was amazed that there appeared to be no sites that offered guidance or that delivered content in a structured manner. Furthermore the quality of the content varied hugely making it impossible to be sure you were providing the right support for your kids.” He added, “We have put online the very best learning materials accurately covering the national curriculum subjects and supported these with a team of qualified teachers. I wish HELP had been available when my children took their exams.” For media inquiries, please contact Nick Wood of Media Intelligence Partners Ltd on 07889 617003 or 0203 008 8146 or Alistair Thompson on 07970 162225 or 0203 008 8145.
