The Legatum Institute will host an international conference in London on human trafficking – Wednesday 15 September. The conference ‘Stepping up the Fight: Tackling Demand for Human Trafficking’, will bring together a panel of experts including Aaron Cohen, Executive Director of AbolishSlavery.org and the best-selling author of “Slave Hunter: One Man’s Global Quest to Free Victims of Human Trafficking”. Mr Cohen will call on the international community to do more to stop this trade in suffering and misery. He will be joined by leading anti trafficking campaigner Karin Riis-Jorgensen MEP, and international experts Shihoko Fujiwara, Polaris Project and Michele Clark, George Washington University.
