Medina Palms Partners With Born Free in Kenya

Report this content

Medina Palms has partnered with Born Free and is providing support to a number of community based conservation projects in Kenya. They will be donating a percentage of their income to a new joint initiative for local coastal conservation projects which will aim to protect local marine life through community involvement in habitat conservation and environmental education activities.

"Striking a balance between sustainable developments, the needs of local people, the conservation of species and the protection of the environment, is one of society's most pressing challenges. Medina Palms seeks to address those challenges through responsible use of resources, generation of local employment, environmental sensitivity and support for conservation initiatives. Other developments should follow this example." Will Travers, Founder, Born Free Foundation.
