Chicago Tribune recognition based on employee feedback

MUNDELEIN, Ill., November 13, 2012 — Medline Industries, Inc. announced today that it has been named one of the "Top Workplaces" in the Chicago area by the Chicago Tribune. The 2012 rankings, published today in a special Chicago Tribune magazine section, recognizes the 100 best places to work in the Chicago area based on employee opinions about company leadership, values, local community support, career development, training and benefits.

"It’s one thing to be honored by prestigious organizations throughout the year for the work we do, but it’s especially meaningful when our own employees believe that Medline is a great place to work,” said Andy Mills, president of Medline. "We have very low turnover, great benefits and an open and comfortable work environment. But it is the dedication and spirit of our employees that truly makes Medline a great place to work."

Medline Widely Recognized as a Great Place to Work

In addition to this recent recognition, Medline was honored by the Family Business Center at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business as the 2012 Illinois Large Family Business of the Year. Medline was also recently named to the “National 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For™” list, as well as selected as one of the “Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in Chicago.”
