ALLERGISTS AVAILABLE TO ALL AT ALLERGY CLINIC IN WEST-EDMONTON MALL
From May 24 to May 27, the public will be able to meet allergists and ask their questions at the Allergy Clinic
EDMONTON, Alberta, Thursday, May 24, 2012—Following the great success of the Allergy Clinics in past years, Merck Consumer Care is pleased to host for a third consecutive year, the Aerius Allergy Clinic in a local shopping mall.
From May 24 to May 27, 2012, the Aerius® Allergy Clinic will be present at the West-Edmonton Mall, Edmonton’s premier shopping destination. A kiosk made especially for the occasion will be set up and brand ambassadors will be available to provide useful information to people affected by allergy symptoms. During four days, the public will be guided by the Aerius® team through different stations to receive information on allergies.
Participants, allergy sufferers – or those who have someone they know affected by allergies – will also be invited to visit the healthcare section sponsored by Merck Consumer Care. In this section, they will have the opportunity to meet an allergist or pharmacist who will answer their questions and provide information about allergies and different treatment options.
“Our objective with this program is to support people suffering from allergies by providing them and the general public with easy access to useful information on allergies”, said François Woods, Aerius® Brand Manager.
Visitors will also be able to connect to the online Aerius® Community to learn the latest information available and share their experiences with other allergy sufferers. For more information: www.aerius.ca.

The Allergy Clinic will be located in the West-Edmonton Hall (ES10) near the Deep Sea Adventure Lake.
The Allergy Clinic will also be held in Toronto (Eaton Centre, from May 31 to June 3 and Square One from June 7 to June 10), in Montreal (Complexe Desjardins from August 14 to August 17) and Laval (Carrefour Laval from August 23 to August 26).
