MONTREAL, Quebec -  Aug. 8, 2012 /CISIONWIRE/ – Merck Consumer Care and Dr. Marie-Josée Francoeur, physician in allergy and in private practice as well as professor of clinical medicine in pediatric allergies in the department of pediatrics at the Sherbrooke University, invite the media to a press briefing on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 10:30 am at Complexe Desjardins in Montreal.

Following the great success the Allergy Clinics had over the last years, Merck Consumer Care will hold, for a third consecutive year, the Allergy Clinics at Complexe Desjardins in Montreal, and Carrefour Laval in Laval from August 14 to 26.

At the Allergy Clinics, allergy sufferers – or those who know someone affected by allergies – will be guided by the Aerius team through different stations to receive information on allergies. Participants will also be invited to visit the healthcare section sponsored by Merck Consumer Care where an allergist will be on site to answer their questions and provide key information on various treatment options.

At the press briefing, Dr. Francoeur will talk about allergy symptoms, consequences and available treatments.
