Publication of change in the total number of shares and votes in Diamyd

As of January 29, 2010, the share capital in Diamyd Medical AB (publ.) is 14 330 494 SEK. The total number of votes is 4 160 187 and the total number of shares is 28 660 988, divided among 1 437 876 shares of series A (1 vote) and 27 223 112 shares of series B (1/10 vote). This change is due to the exercise of granted employee stock options in the stock option plan 2007/2010, approved by the Annual Meeting of Shareholders 2007, and in the stock option plan 2008/2011, approved by the Annual Meeting of Shareholders 2008, and to the executed division of shares (a split), meaning that each share has been divided into two shares of the same class, approved by the Annual Meeting of Shareholders on December 11, 2009.
