Metacon AB (publ) Interim Report Third Quarter 2019

We continue to deliver on our strategy and the activity level is high throughout the business. Metacon is gradually approaching the goal of our most important milestone; to have certified and commercial products for the global market.

Some important milestones that we achieved during the quarter are:

• Helbio received the final report from the EU Commission with approval of the Prometheus5 project concerning the development of a 5kW micro-CHP system, an innovative, environmentally friendly and efficient solution for power and heat production using hydrogen and fuel cells. Helbio met the requirements successfully and got the whole amount of the grant.
• Metacon invested EUR 1.5 million in Helbio and increased its ownership to 56.63%
• Metacon KK (Japan) received an order to deliver a reformer and fuel cell to Adsorption Technology, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Futamura group.
