Metacon Expands Global Leadership Team
Metacon today announced the appointment of Marc Poppe as Senior Advisor, enhancing the Company’s global leadership capabilities. The appointment became effective April 22, 2019. Marc will mainly be based out of Tokyo and will focus on the Japanese market, but will also advise Metacon on global activities. A German national, Marc also speaks fluent Japanese and English.

Biography - Marc Poppe (Born 1970)
Most recently he worked as a Project Manager at Hitachi in Japan for 3 years, Marc has 20 years of experience in the electricity industry in Project and Risk Management as well as Contract and Claim Management in Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Finland, Bulgaria and Canada.
Successful track record in operational leadership and programme delivery roles in energy and infrastructure sectors. Proven ability to build and lead international teams and harmonize reporting structures to meet stakeholder requirements or adjust data according to international rules and regulations. As Key Account Manager in charge for the harmonization and negotiation of framework contracts, achievement of sales targets, development of schedules or business plans.
He holds a Bachelor of business law (FH) at European University Diploma in Kassel and a Bachelor of business administration (FH) with specialist subject “Marketing Management East Asia, Japan” at University of applied Sciences in Ludwigshafen.
