Swedish Trade counsel choose Meteorit AB for new IT-solution Meteorit AB has 2001-10-22 signed an agreement with the Swedish Trade counsel. The agreement means that Meteorit will develop the next generation of CRM system for the Swedish trade counsel. The Swedish Trade counsel has for some time been looking to implement a new technical platform. At the same time they have chosen to improve their system solution. Therefore a brand new system is going to be developed and the company in charge of the development is the IT- consultant company Meteorit AB. Biggest solution ever according to Microsoft Meteorit AB are going to develop the new IT-solution for the Swedish trade counsel on a platform consisting of Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000. This is, according to Microsoft, the biggest solution ever built in Sweden on Exchange 2000. Meteorit was chosen to develop the next generation CRM system for the Swedish trade counsel. The new solution will offer users worldwide fast connection to the CRM database. Since the infrastructure and conditions for computer communication varies from country to country a central SQL server database will be complemented with a number of local Exchange Servers 2000 at the Swedish Trade Counsels offices around the world. The solution offer users at the different offices fast direct communication with the local Exchange 2000 Server. The communication with the central SQL Server database takes place through the new functions that Microsoft introduced in Exchange 2000. Another advantage with the new system is how it will be able to use existing functionality within the platform and the great opportunities for adjustments. Meteorit will deliver the new solution in December 2001 and it will be in running operation on February 7 2002.
