Metro International shares to trade on om Stockholm exchange O-list
METRO INTERNATIONAL SHARES TO TRADE ON OM STOCKHOLM EXCHANGE O-LIST Metro International S.A. ("Metro"), the leading international free newspaper group, today announced that the OM Stockholm Exchange has accepted its application for the admission of its A and B shares to the OM Stockholm Exchange's O-list. The shares will commence trading on Thursday 8 February 2001 under the symbols MTROA and MTROB. Metro's shares continue to trade on the Nasdaq National Market in New York under the same symbols. As a consequence, Metro's shares will be de-listed from the Stockholm Börsinformation (SBI) list in Stockholm with effect from the close of trading on Wednesday 7 February 2001. Shares in Metro International S.A. were distributed to the shareholders of Modern Times Group MTG AB in August 2000.
