Corporate Purchasing Organization


Metsä-Serla's Corporate Purchasing Department will operate in accordance with
the Materials Management Manual. Modo Paper's corresponding purchasing staff
have been added to the working groups responsible for the manual. 
Touko Antola will continue in his post as Metsä-Serla's Vice President,
Corporate Purchasing, and Risto Pyhältö will be Purchasing Manager within
Corporate Purchasing. 

Vice President, Purchasing, Bruno Martsch will be transferred to special
assignments. He will be a member of agreed working groups and develop the
purchasing function at the mills in Germany in accordance with the Materials
Management Manual. 

The purchasing function at Modo Paper's office in Stockholm, Sweden, and at the
Raubling office in Germany will be wound up by the end of this year.
