Fox Valley Seminar 2004
The Fox Valley seminar, once again very popular, took place at Fox Valley
Technical College, Appleton, USA. Some 50 of the participants came from the
Middle West, but there were also a lot of guest from farther away.
The main theme was to present technical back-up information for high-quality
printing. There were presentations on corrugating, corrugator crew motivation,
corrugator control and how to handle dust problems. David McKinney (Lewisburg)
gave an excellent presentation from a customer's point of view on litho,
digital and direct flexo printing. There were also presentations on
plate-making, several different inks, dryers, cleaners and automation for
printing.
