M-real increases prices for graphic fine papers in Europe

Due to continued cost escalation and unsatisfactory profitability of its fine
paper operations, M-real has started negotiations to increase the price for
coated and uncoated fine papers. An increase of eur 40/ton will be applied at
the beginning of 2008 as follows: 

The price for reels will be increased with immediate effect, latest by 18
January   2008 
The price for daily indent sheets, i.e. non-contracted business will be
increased from 
11 February 2008 
The price for large indent business, i.e.”contracted volumes” will be increased
as soon as current contracts expire 
The price for stock business will be increased in Q2 2008 
M-real has started discussions with our merchant partners already to ensure
support for the increases.
