Metsä Board placed on CDP’s Supplier Climate and Water A lists

Metsä Board has been identified as a global leader for its actions and strategies to manage environmental issues and has been awarded a position both on CDP’s Supplier Climate A List and on CDP’s Supplier Water A List. Metsä Board is the only Finnish company on these lists and the only forest industry company globally to feature on the Supplier Climate A list. CDP is a non-profit global environmental disclosure platform.

In 2017 over 4,800 companies submitted annual supply chain disclosures to CDP for independent assessment against its scoring methodology. Metsä Board is among the 2% of organisations participating in CDP’s supply chain programme to be awarded a position on the Supplier A List, in recognition of its actions to address environmental issues including climate change, water security and deforestation in the past reporting year.
