Metsä Board Corporation press release 15.05.2020
ProCom – The Finnish Association of Communication Professionals – has awarded Metsä Board’s annual report 2019 the prestigious title of ‘the best’ of the annual reports by listed companies in Finland. The association makes the evaluation annually. Metsä Board is part of Metsä Group.
According to ProCom's press release, the evaluation committee thanked Metsä Board for a very successful entity in all four areas (finance, narrative, visuality and responsibility). In particular, responsibility and mitigating climate change are key themes in Metsä Board's annual report, which provides a clear rationale for the company's existence and future goals.
“Our aim was to show clearly the value we create as a company and also to communicate our development areas for the future. In particular, we wanted to open up our sustainability targets and performance and describe how Metsä Board is providing solutions to global challenges. This award is a great recognition of the work that has been done in Metsä Group to create a good annual report entity,” says Marjo Halonen, VP Communications, Metsä Board.
