NOTICE PURSUANT TO THE SECURITIES MARKET ACT, CHAPTER 2, SECTION
10: CAPITAL GROUP´S HOLDINGS IN M-REAL CORPORATION

According to the information received by M-real Corporation, the
holding of The Capital Group Companies, Inc. has on 18 October
2004 decreased to 3.54 percent of the share capital and to 1.14
percent of the voting rights. The Capital Group Companies own in
total 11, 604, 233 M-real´s B-shares.

The Capital Group Companies, Inc. (CGC) is a holding company for
several subsidiary companies engaged investment management
activities.
