Paper Profile declarations available on the M-real website

M-real's Paper Profile product declarations with updated figures for 2005 are
now published on our website, on http://www.m-real.com/Paper+Profiles, giving
easy access to environmental data for M-real products. This is the fifth update
from M-real since the industry-wide Paper Profile scheme was introduced in
2001.

environmental parameters. Today all M-real's paper and board products have
Paper Profile declarations. Feedback from our customers shows they appreciate
the Paper Profile scheme, which helps them make informed paper or board
choices." 
Paper Profile is a standardised environmental declaration developed in
co-operation with paper manufacturers, distributors and industry associations
in Europe. It provides transparent and comparable information about each paper
and board product as well as essential information regarding product
composition and key environmental parameters. 
M-real has added two supplements to the Paper Profile. The first supplement
provides information on the producing mill, transports and how to handle the
products after use. The second comprises detailed data on the origin by country
of all wood used in a product, together with the average proportion of
certified wood supplied per country
