Metsä Board Corporation Stock Exchange Release Changes in company’s own shares 15 March 2024 at 2:20 p.m. EET

Based on the decision of the Board of Directors of Metsä Board Corporation ("the Company"), a total of 223,325 Company's Series B shares have today been transferred as a reward under the Company's long-term incentive plan for the performance period 2021–2023. The payment of the share bonus was announced on 8 February 2024.

Price/share: Without consideration

The share reward has been paid to the 26 key employees covered by the incentive scheme in accordance with the terms of the incentive scheme. The share rewards have been paid with the Company's own series B shares held by the Company issued in a directed share issue without consideration, so the total number of shares in the Company will not change. Prior to the directed share issue, the Company held a total of 701,215 own series B shares, of which after the directed share issue the Company will hold 477,890 shares.
