Changes in Metsä Fibre's Management Team

MSc (Eng.), MBA (Econ.) Timi Hyppänen is appointed Senior Vice President, Supply Chain of Metsä Fibre, and a member of the company's Management Team as of 1 January 2022. In his new role, Hyppänen will report to Metsä Fibre's CEO Ismo Nousiainen.
MSc (Eng.) Jari Tikkanen has been appointed Senior Vice President, Pulp Production, as of 1 January 2022. Tikkanen is currently working as the SVP, Sawmill Business, and he will continue to report to CEO Ismo Nousiainen also in his new role. Jaakko Anttila, who has been Metsä Fibre's SVP, Pulp Production, since 2019, will start in his new role as EVP, Metsä Wood, as of January 1, 2022.
A new SVP, Sawmill Business, will be appointed later. When Tikkanen takes up his new position on 1 January 2022, Kaija Pehu-Lehtonen, SVP Business Development, will temporarily be responsible for the company's sawn timber production in addition to her own position.
