Metsä Group raises its result guidance for the fourth quarter of 2017
Metsä Group raises its result guidance for the fourth quarter of 2017, which was announced in the interim report for January - September 2017.
The previous guidance was: Metsä Group’s comparable operating result is in the fourth quarter of 2017 expected to be to be roughly at the same level as in the third quarter of 2017.
The new guidance is: Metsä Group’s comparable operating result is in the fourth quarter of 2017 expected to improve from the third quarter of 2017.
Metsä Group’s comparable operating result was EUR 134 million in the third quarter of 2017.
The change in result guidance is due to the better than forecast long fibre pulp market situation and price development as well as the higher than expected production volumes of the Äänekoski bioproduct mill.
