Finnforest acquires wall-system manufacturer Heinolan Seinälinja

Finnforest Corporation has bought the entire share stock of Heinolan Seinälinja
Oy, which designs, manufactures and installs partition-wall solutions on a
turnkey basis. Kerto LVL manufactured by Finnforest is used in these systems. 

The acquisition of the wall system is part of the ongoing programme to expand
and develop the Building Systems business area. Heinolan Seinälinja has
achieved a strong position in Finland and Finnforest now aims to expand its
operations into European markets. 

Antti Bergman, the company's founder and developer of its partition-wall
system, will continue as Heinolan Seinälinja's managing director. The company
was founded in 1988 and has annual turnover of 30 million markkas (€5.05
million).
