Ilkka Salonen to join Metsäliitto Cooperative’s Board of Directors

At a meeting held on 3 May 2018, the Supervisory Board of Metsä Group’s parent company, Metsäliitto Cooperative, elected Ilkka Salonen, Master of Science (Econ), to be a new member of Metsäliitto Cooperative’s Board of Directors. Salonen, who works as CFO and Deputy to President and CEO in YIT Corporation, is also the chairman of the Board’s audit committee.

Mikael Silvennoinen leaves the Board of Directors. He was a member of the Board since 2015.
