INVITATION TO METSÄLIITTO GROUP FULL YEAR REPORT 2005 PRESS CONFERENCE

Metsäliitto Group will present its full year report for 2005 on Wednesday, 8th
February at 1 pm. Press conference will be held at restaurant Bank´s Wall Street,
Unioninkatu 22, Helsinki.

Report will be presented by Kari Jordan, Group President and CEO. Also
Metsäliitto Group subsidiary CEOs, Hannu Anttila (M-real), Erkki Varis (Metsä-
Botnia), Mikko Helander (Metsä Tissue) and Ole Salvén (Finnforest) will be
attending the press conference as well as Group CFO Ilkka Pitkänen and
Metsäliitto Cooperative Senior Executive Vice President Martin Lillandt.
