Kaija Pehu-Lehtonen appointed manager of Rauma Pulp Mill

Kaija Pehu-Lehtonen, M.Sc. (Eng.) (38) has been appointed Director of Rauma
pulp mill with effect from 15 April 2001, when Timo Piilonen takes up his post
of Director, Strategic Investments. Ms Pehu-Lehtonen is moving to Rauma from
Joutseno pulp mill, where she has been Production Manager since 1997. 


Kaija Pehu-Lehtonen graduated from the Department of Forest Products Technology
of Helsinki University of Technology in 1986. Before joining Metsä-Botnia, she
was employed at UPM-Kymmene's Kuusanniemi pulp mill in process and development
duties as well as investment projects. 

Ms Pehu-Lehtonen will report to Ilkka Hämälä, Director responsible for
Production.
